Since the zombie plague, the animals have dug in. Down here there's a fire, a bear who tells stories, and two best friends who keep going back up.

Brown and black stripes, grey feet, very sharp teeth. He helped his best friend find his way back to being good, and he'll wave a warm green healing light over him when it counts.

An experiment went wrong when a raccoon jumped in the way. He came out with a raccoon's head and claws on his hands and feet. He spins, flips and claws his way through Dr. Experiment's crops.

Flies a little red plane, until the zombies steal it. His roar slows down anything big, and his breath is not something you want to stand in.

The wise old bear who keeps the den. He tells the friends the stories of Dr. Experiment's horrible experiments, and he's always there when you make it home.

Dr. Experiment grows them from a special seed and a vitamin, then plants them. By night they climb out of the field and come looking for you.

Raccoon head, bear body, goblin arms. Merge the whole team for a minute of Giga Beam and Claw Storm.
Bippity Goblin began as a story a kid told. The raccoon-man with all the powers, the goblin best friend, the bear who keeps the den, the doctor who grows zombies like vegetables: every one of them came out of a young designer's head, and the game was built together, one idea at a time. These lines are from the very first design notes.
“He is a good guy, he goes after zombies. He has a friend like a goblin that comes and helps him.”
“Dr. Experiment never sleeps, he is always planting more zombies.”
“The game should not be bad for your brain.”
Dr. Experiment never sleeps. All day he plants seeds in the fields, and every root you leave standing climbs out after dark as a grumble. So you cut. Then the sun goes down, and you hold the line by the watchfires until something bigger comes out of the old stump.
Acorns are experience. Level up and a beam of light comes down on the whole party, and they each do a little dance. New powers arrive every other level, and the levels in between make everyone tougher.

Every night you survive opens the way to somewhere new: woods, ice, clouds, caves, an ocean, a castle. Meet new animals, and every one of them teaches you something.
A game should leave you better than it found you. Bippity Goblin is a complete adventure with nothing hidden in it.
Not one. Nothing to tap away from, nothing to watch to keep playing.
The game collects no data about you, and plays fully offline.
No energy timers, no loot boxes, no nagging for purchases.
A day and a night take about two minutes, and the game saves itself as you go.
